Rural Transformation Programme (RTP)

Program Transformasi Luar Bandar atau Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) antara inisatif yang dijalankan oleh Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak. Penyediaan kemudahan infrastruktur luar bandar sentiasa menjadi keutamaan kerajaan dalam merapatkan jurang perbezaan pembangunan antara bandar dan luar bandar.

JKR Sarawak melalui JKR Bahagian di seluruh negeri adalah antara agensi pelaksana yang dipertanggungjawabkan memantau dan memastikan projek-projek disiapkan mengikut jadual.

Antara komponen projek RTP merangkumi pembinaan dan naiktaraf jalan, dewan serbaguna, jambatan, jeti, titian jalan, tebingan sungai, wharf serta pontoon.

RTP adalah bukti keperihatinan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak dalam memastikan masyarakat luar bandar dilengkapi kemudahan asas yang selesa. Ia juga dilihat sebagai satu langkah yang akan menjadikan kawasan luar bandar sebagai kawasan yang mempunyai keistimewaan dan keunikan tersendiri.

Projek membina jalan baru Skait.

YB Hajah Simoi Peri bersama Noor Ismail bin Razali Juruteknik Awam JKR, Mohamad Rizal bin Mohd Pon Juruteknik Awam DID, Sulaiman bin Amut Pegawai JASA DUN Lingga dan beberapa jabatan/agensi kerajaan telah mengadakan lawatan bagi meninjau projek membina jalan baru Skait, Sri Aman yang sedang dalam proses pembinaan.

Projek ini di bawah seliaan Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Sri Aman.

Jalan baru ini adalah untuk menggantikan jalan skait yang susur akibat hakisan yang teruk sebelum ini.

REMISSION OF LAND RENT

Referring to the announcement made on 26th of February 2016 on “The Remission of Land Rent”, I would like to specify that this remission will apply to smallholder agriculture land which is less than 100 acres and residential land.

With effect from 15th of March 2016, land rent shall no longer be charged on these land. All arrears and surcharges, if any, are hereby waived.

This decision will affect 360,422 titles with land rent amounting to RM8.58 million (19% of total land rent) whereby:-

a)      173,752 titles are smallholder agriculture land (less than 100 acres) with land rent amounting to RM3.62 million (or 8% of total land rent); and

b)      186,670 titles are residential land with land rent amounting to RM4.96 million (or 11% of total land rent).

Majlis Pecah Tanah Tapak untuk Bangunan Rural Products Market Betong

Majlis Pecah Tanah Tapak untuk Bangunan Rural Products Market Betong yang disempurnakan oleh YAB Ketua Menteri Sarawak pada 19.02.2016.

Kos projek yang dianggarkan sebanyak RM5 juta akan menempatkan 196 gerai jualan dan 254 tempat letak kereta. Taniah Warga Betong.

BETONG: The Betong Rural Products Market, which will be constructed opposite the old Betong bus station, will be equipped with proper facilities.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu said the market was good news for all traders from rural areas around this town.

“Currently traders from the rural areas have no choice but to sell their goods at pedestrian walkways around the old Betong bazaar area.

“I hope with the construction of the new market, it would make their lives easier,” he said before Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem performed the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday.

Trader Mau Juli from Maja, Betong said she was pleased to have a proper place to sell her goods.

“We have been trading under the hot sun and rain for as long as we can remember. I can now look forward to a more comfortable place to trade,” she said.

Luya Chundang from Lingit, Ulu Anyut said she hoped the new market would be properly organised to benefit customers as well.

“Being organised makes it easier for everyone who visits the place and with the customers being comfortable when visiting the place, I am sure customers will return to visit the place often,” she said.

The new market on a 3.7-acre site will have a ‘jungle look’ and incorporate traditional motifs. Once completed, it will be able to accommodate 196 stalls and will be equipped with public toilets, a management office, refuse disposal area, 245 parking spaces and eight loading bays.

Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak

Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak (Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department @ JBALB)

Pada January 2016, secara rasminya Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak beroperasi dengan mengambil alih fungsi Unit Bekalan air dari JKR Sarawak.

JBALB terletak dibawah Kementerian Kemudahan Awam Sarawak (Public Utility Minister).

Ibu Pejabat JBALB terletak di Level 16 Wisma Seberkas Kuching.

Pentadbiran JBALB diketuai oleh Pengarah Ir Daniel Wong. Diperingkat Bahagian pula, JBALB diketuai oleh sama ada Jurutera Bekalan Air ataupun Pegawai Menguasa.

Dengan tertubuhnya JBALB, maka peluang pekerjaan untuk warga Sarawak juga wujud dengan banyaknya. Kini, setelah hampir 4 bulan dtubuhkan, operasi JBALB berjalan dengan lancar dimana kesemua Bahagian mempunyai Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTJ) masing masing untuk menyalurkan peruntukan operasinya.
